Original Don

Original Sin Revisited

No I don\'t believe in the concept of original sin. Nor do I believe in the immaculate conception, the virgin birth, nor the annunciation. Thus many would say I am a heretic, un-saved, going to hell, certainly not a Christian, and a host of additional adjectives that young minds should not have to read. But I am a follower of Jesus, who became the Christos. So what does one do with all of that?! 

I do not believe that God creates, nor created EVIL!

God is GOOD and God is LOVE. It is man\'s lower consciousness and dense material state that has created evil. It is mans free will that has created evil. Let me harken back to my college days LOGIC class. God is good. God is love. Sin is evil. Sin is not God. Are we okay so far? Then if God is good and God is love how could there be a concept such as \"original sin\"? Saying that I came into this world as evil, a sinner right out of mommy\'s tummy, an original sinner makes God the creator of evil not me.

Or, did the Devil make us all do it? 

No, I was born into love. I came in as \"original innocence\" not as an original sinner.

I, you , me , we had to LEARN how to hate, we had to be taught how to exercise prejudice, and we had to be schooled in environmental and geographical bias. It didn\'t come with the birth package. And Jesus, who came into the world just as we all did, he was SINLESS without any need to cover the bases with an immaculate conception doctrine though it works metaphorically.

Jesus was the \"First Begotten Son\" of God. By that I mean he was the first to truly SEE and KNOW what His true identity was and as a result so can we- if we can get past the religious indoctrinations about so many things that have been dogmatized than simply don\'t work. Jesus showed us the Christ consciousness and said that we can do it too.
